On behalf of HARP Publishing The People’s Press, we express our deep condolences to Paqtnkek Mi’kmaw Nation for the loss of Elder Ron Julian, your cherished wisdom keeper and protector of Mi’kmaq language and traditions. We remember with gratitude the participation of Elder Ron Julian at the Ottawa launch of HARP’s first publication, The People’s Photo Album: A Pictorial Genealogy of the Antigonish Movement in May 2019. We were privileged witnesses to the joyous (and unexpected) reunion of Senator Dan Christmas with his old friend Ron Julian.
